Questions, answered
Do I need to buy a barcode scanner?
No. Any Android phone camera scans barcodes in MnabeShop POS. Items without a barcode can get one generated in the app and printed as labels.
Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit: up to 50 products, one user, and basic point of sale. Every new shop also gets a 7-day Premium trial with all features.
How much does it cost?
Free forever for up to 50 products. Biashara is TSh 15,000 a month (unlimited products, 3 users, reports and expenses) and Premium is TSh 35,000 a month (10 users and more). Pay for a year and get 2 months free.
How do I pay?
Pay to Lipa Namba 18935559 (Mixx by Yas, WITHUS ONLINE SHOPPING) from any mobile money network, then in the app open More → Subscription, choose your plan and enter the transaction ID. We confirm it and activate your plan, usually within a few hours during business hours.
What happens when my trial or subscription ends?
Nothing is deleted. After a paid period ends you keep your plan for a 7-day grace period to renew. After that your shop moves to the Free plan: selling still works, and paid features are locked until you renew.
Can my staff use it?
Yes. Add sales staff from the web dashboard. They can sell and see stock, but never buying prices, profit or expenses. Biashara allows 3 users and Premium up to 10.
Does it work on a computer?
Yes. Sign in to the web dashboard from any browser to see reports, manage products and users, and export data.
Is my data safe if I lose my phone?
Your data is stored securely in the cloud, not on the phone. Sign in on a new phone and everything is there. Ask the shop owner to deactivate a lost staff phone's account.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: More → Delete account. Or online at our account deletion page.
